šŸ”¢ Track Your Tasks with Numbers

You can now track your tasks withĀ numerical widgetsĀ in Flowlu. These let you see key task stats at a glance—no extra clicks needed.

You can eitherĀ create custom widgetsĀ or use one of our presets:

  • Tasks in Progress – How many tasks are currently being worked on.
  • Total Overdue Tasks – Tasks that should’ve been done but aren’t.
  • Tasks Completed This Month – Everything finished in the current month.
  • Time Logged for Closed Tasks – Total hours spent on completed tasks.
  • Closed Tasks Revenue – How much you’ve earned from finished tasks.

šŸ”§ Make It Work for You

The best part?Ā You can customize these widgets to show exactly what you need.Ā Want to see only tasks assigned to a specific teammate? Done. Need a widget for overdue tasks in a particular project? Easy. Some other ideas:

šŸ”¹Ā Tasks in progress for a specific assignee or team
šŸ”¹Ā Overdue tasks grouped by project or client
šŸ”¹Ā Completed tasks within a certain date range
šŸ”¹Ā Logged time for tasks with a specific tag
šŸ”¹Ā Revenue from closed tasks in a particular pipeline

Set up your widgets and get the numbers you actually care about—without digging through reports.

ā³ Keep Tasks Aligned with Automatic Scheduling

No more dragging tasks around just to keep things aligned.Ā Auto SchedulingĀ in the Gantt chart takes care of dependencies for you—when a task moves, related tasks adjust automatically.Ā

šŸ”§ How to Enable Auto Scheduling

You can turn Auto Scheduling on or off by navigating to:
Project → Gantt → āš™ļø (Settings) → Automation

When Auto Scheduling is OFF

  • Task dependenciesĀ won’tĀ affect schedules.
  • You can freely move tasks without impacting others.

When Auto Scheduling is ON

  • Dependencies will automatically adjust task dates.
  • Tasks will shift based on changes to linked tasks.

✨ Key Features:

  • Automatic Deadline Adjustments:Ā When linking tasks, the next task will automatically align with the previous one.
  • Lag/Delay Between Tasks:Ā Add a delay between linked tasks by clicking on the dependency line. Lags can be set inĀ hours or daysĀ and will be considered in future schedule adjustments. Task links with a delay will be highlighted inĀ blueĀ on the Gantt chart.
  • Automatic Task Rescheduling:Ā When moving a task with dependencies, the linked tasks will automatically adjust. Changing a task’s due date will shift dependent tasks accordingly.
  • Fixed Start Dates for Linked Tasks:Ā If Auto Scheduling is enabled, the start date of a dependent task cannot be manually changed. The start date will be calculated based on the due date of the preceding task and the assigned lag.

Try it out now in yourĀ Gantt chart settingsĀ and experience smarter scheduling!Ā

Available on Business and higher plans.

🚩 Milestones Are Back, and They Work Even Better

Milestones have returned, and now they’re clearer and more powerful. Think of a milestone as a key moment in your project—a point where something important is completed.

We’ve upgraded the milestone details page to make tracking even easier. Now, milestones have the same statuses (stages) as tasks, plus some extra fields. More importantly, they now supportĀ dependencies, meaning you can prevent a milestone from being completed until certain tasks are finished.

āœ”ļø How Milestones Work

Milestones aren’t just tasks with a different name—they serve a distinct purpose. Here’s what makes them different:

  • Fixed Start & Due Date – A milestone marks a moment in time, so its start and due date are the same.

  • No Subtasks – You can’t add tasks under a milestone, but you can convert a task into a milestone if it represents a key point in the project.

  • Always Part of a Project – Every milestone belongs to a project. If you remove the link, the milestone automatically turns back into a regular task.

šŸ› ļø How to Create a Milestone

You can set up milestones in several ways:

  • From theĀ Work Structure

  • Using aĀ Project Workflow

  • On theĀ Gantt ChartĀ (where milestones appear as diamond shapes and can be linked to tasks)

  • ByĀ converting a task or subtaskĀ into a milestone

šŸ‘€ Easily Track Your Milestones

Want a quick way to see all your milestones? Use theĀ Tasks widgetĀ on your dashboard, set the filter toĀ Milestone, and you’ll have a complete overview in one place.

šŸ“ŠšŸ’° New CRM Widget: Average Opportunity Value

Now you can see theĀ average opportunity valueĀ for a selected period right in your CRM widgets. This helps track trends, like how much customers are spending in a specific sales pipeline or under a specific team member.

We’ve also added aĀ progress indicatorĀ to CRM widgets. It compares numbers from the selected period to the previous one, so you can quickly see if things are improving or not. This is handy for spotting changes, like how a couponĀ campaign affects your sales.Ā
