Update summary
A unified business platform for managing everything from client projects to internal processes in one affordable, award-winning solution.
One of the most requested features in Flowlu is finally here: you can now view your tasks on a calendar. Managing deadlines and coordinating your team’s workload is now more straightforward. With tasks laid out by day, week, or month, it’s easy to spot gaps, avoid overlaps, and keep everything moving on schedule.
If your job is to stay on top of multiple deadlines and coordinate work with your team, the new Calendar View gives you a visual way to plan, track, and adjust—without hopping between lists and spreadsheets. We’d love to hear how the new Calendar View is working for you. Your feedback will help us shape the next improvements.
Project workflows speed up creating new projects, especially for companies that handle similar, regulated processes. But what if one project is slightly different? Maybe it has extra milestones, a different number of stages, or a unique order of tasks.
Until now, that meant starting from scratch. Not anymore—now you can unlink a project from its workflow.
Unlinking is available to Project module administrators, project managers, and assistant managers.
Done. Your project is now editable and independent of the workflow.
User profile pages can now be changed to match how your team works. There’s a default account view that all users share, plus each team member can create their own My Page View for personal use.
To customize:
Custom profile fields work the same way as Flowlu’s custom fields in other modules — so you can add dropdowns, date pickers, checkboxes, and more.
This makes it easy to record time zones, preferred contact methods, working hours, HR details like start dates, emergency contacts, uniform sizes, and more — all in one place.
You can now fully customize the way your records look — for your whole team or just yourself.
In any record (Opportunities, Contacts, Companies, Projects, Tasks, and Agile Issue), you’ll now see a “Configure layout” option via the three-dot menu in the top right corner. This opens layout editing mode.
This gives every team — and every user — the right structure for the job. No more irrelevant fields, just what’s needed to get work done.
We’ve added a smart new automation to Flowlu Projects that helps you keep your stages tidy.
You can now automatically close a project stage when all milestones within it are completed. It’s a simple way to keep your projects flowing and your workspace clear.
Once all milestones inside a stage are marked as complete, the stage will auto-close.
If someone reopens a milestone from that closed stage later, the project won’t move backward. The closed stage stays closed. (If you do want to roll it back, you can do that manually.)
Go to Portal Settings → Projects → Main Settings and find the "Automatically progress a project to the next stage" section.
You’ll now see these updated options:
✅ All checklist items are completed
✅ All stage tasks are closed
✅ All milestones are completed ← (New!)
✋ Don’t move automatically (manual only)
Just pick your preferred option from the dropdown—done!
Tip: Want to auto-close milestones too? Set up task dependencies and use Gantt chart automation to close them once all preceding tasks are finished.
