🌸 Meet April 2023 Flowlu Updates

  April is coming to an end, and it’s time to have a quick look at all the exciting features being made by our developers for you.


💸 We’re always looking for the best ways to make financial management for our users smooth and streamlined. To make it easier, we added automations to the Money tab in our Finance module. From now on, you can decide what’s going to happen after the transaction is created, edited, or deleted.



📊 To avoid a total mess in your transactions while managing small imprest expenses, we’ve added a brand-new Imprest Fund module, where you can create personal accounts for each employee. Within 

an account, you can provide funds to your employees, manage expenses, and refund undrawn money.



📱 Also, we’ve made some improvements to our mobile app to make it more user-friendly and customizable. From now on, you can easily customize your sidebars and add icons to have quick access to the creation forms of tasks, events, opportunities, etc. Furthermore, portal administrators can apply changes to the mobile settings via the browser Flowlu version. April 2023 Mobile App Improvements

👨🏻‍💻 Our mobile developers are working hard to make Flowlu app more useful for you. In the previous update, they brought the whole Agile module to the mobile app. This time, they’ve made even more significant improvements to the mobile app. 


  Here is the list of the most important changes being made: 


  • Deep Link support with improved desktop and mobile link navigation. For example, when sending a link to the task, you’ll reach out to this task inside the mobile app, not the desktop version as it was before.


  • Logging in to the app became easier, and misspelled words won’t affect your authorization process anymore. Your login and password will be automatically saved for autofill.


  • Portal administrators can change the bottom bar for the mobile app via the desktop version. Settings can be applied to the whole portal, groups of users, and each employee. Users can change the bottom bar via the mobile app to adapt it to their own needs. Mobile app settings have priority over settings made via the desktop.


  • All the available opportunity, task, and event creation forms can be added to the bottom menu. For example, if you regularly create tasks, you can place the form in the bottom bar for quick access.


  • Once the specific entity is created via forms (tasks, events, opportunities, etc.), you’ll get a notification with an option to get to the page with detailed information.


  • The Imprest Fund tab was added to the mobile app. This tab will help you easily track cash that is set aside for use in paying for incidental expenses.


  • Quick actions were added to the Module tab. With this feature, you’ll be able to quickly create new entities without going to lists.

🤝 Give your managers access to bank accounts and transactions!

Shout out to all Flowlu users! 🙌


We added a small improvement to bank accounts and money transactions. Before this improvement, your regular employees weren't able to access money transactions in the Finance module. Access rights became more flexible, so now you can define permissions for each certain bank account in Flowlu.


Once the user grants a permission, you can choose between two options:


  • View - the user will be able to only observe transactions related to this account.

  • Editing - the user will be able to create new transactions and change them.

🔧 Timesheets and Automation Improvements

A while back, we made some small improvements to timesheets and automations. These improvements were made based on feedback from our users, so they’ll definitely boost the productivity of your day-to-day operations.


📑 Timesheets became more insightful


We added a new field to timesheets — Projects. Now you can see to which project the task belongs. It will help you understand not only how long it takes to finish a certain task but also how much time was spent on tasks for a certain project. 



🧩 Editable custom values in automations


Formerly, you had to change custom fields manually for automatically created tasks and projects. We made this feature more user-friendly and less time-consuming, so from now, you can set custom values for tasks and projects directly while creating a new automation rule. Values will be linked to all tasks or projects created from this automation.
